Carina operates a mobile application and website that connects local farmers, restaurants, and consumers directly, eliminating middlemen in the food supply chain (the "Service"). Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, password, and profile details when you register.

• Role-Specific Information:

  • Farmers: Farm name, location, business/licensing details, product listings, and bank/payout information.

  • Restaurants: Business name, address, tax/business identification information, and order history.

  • Consumers: Delivery address, order preferences, and payment information.

• Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe. Carina does not directly store full credit card numbers.

• Communications: Messages sent through the app, customer support inquiries, and feedback or reviews.

 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and Usage Data: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and how you interact with the Service.

• Location Data: Precise or approximate location, used to show nearby farms/restaurants and enable delivery services. You can control location permissions through your device settings.

• Cookies and Similar Technologies: Used on our website to understand usage patterns and improve the Service.

 Information from Third Parties

• Delivery Partners: We share and receive order and delivery status information with DoorDash Drive to fulfill last-mile delivery.

• Payment Processors: Stripe provides transaction confirmations and fraud-prevention data.

• Authentication Providers: If you sign in using Firebase Authentication (e.g., via Google or Apple Sign-In), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
